The Monterey Pop Festival was clearly one of the most pivotal musical events in history. The festival welcomed in the “Summer of Love” and featured the FIRST US PERFORMANCES by both Hendrix and The Who! This is one of the most beautiful important and sought after posters of the entire era and is prominently displayed in The Art of Rock plate 3.5.

We are pleased to offer just the second Museum Quality specimen that has been graded by CGC. The prior example was graded 9.6 and brought $4612 0n 2/12/17. This poster printed on silver foil is notoriously difficult to find in this state of preservation. The silver foil magnifies and highlights every little flaw. This example is SUPERB in all respects. No nicks cuts tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. Tiny 1/8 " corner bump on each of bottom corners keep this from a higher grade
