This 1966, pre-concert first printing Handbill is 100% original with no restoration of any kind. It is a rare issue from the BG series that does not surface often! This John H. Myers design uses a photograph by Gered Mankowitz of the highly influential British blues band as the central image for this early Bill Graham composition. The Yardbirds are an integral page in the encyclopedia of rock and roll history. The Band formed in 1963 and was the springboard for some of the UK’s most notable gunslingers, Clapton, Beck and Page. The Yardbirds were at the center of the British Invasion and eventually morphed into Led Zeppelin. The Yardbirds October ‘66 Fillmore performance was one of the last for guitar virtuoso Jeff Beck on guitar and Jimmy Page on bass. After that Page took over lead on guitar.

Condition: pinholes.
