This rare, original postcard is a set breaker for the Fillmore series and is difficult to obtain! There was no poster printed for these Jefferson Airplane Fillmore West midweek shows. Only postcards were produced. The number 247 appears erroneously on the bottom of the card because the ticket strip information was copied directly from the previous poster, but “247” was not removed. The image was subsequently given the designation of BG-247-A.
Artist Pat Hanks is not credited on the piece but Eric King has confirmed that he was the designer. King also mentions in his guide that this card "was printed in very limited quantities making it rare & expensive." Most folks in this hobby need this issue to complete their set of Fillmore series cards. It's been several years since we've auctioned one because they so seldom pass through our doors.
Condition: Stain top edge, corner creases, corner bumps, crease left edge.
