This rarely seen, original 1966 first printing poster was made for a run of shows featuring Moby Grape at the Ark in Sausalito. These were some of the earliest documented concerts of the group. Lee Michaels was in support. The Ark was known to be a late night hang out for the San Francisco Bands after they finished their gigs in the city. Posters from this venue during late 1966 and throughout 1967 are highly collectible and showcase some of the coolest artwork of the era. The Ark was only open for a short time but many of the SF bands played there including Big Brother, Steve Miller and Santana.
