This 1970 original poster was designed by artist Bob Fried for The Youngbloods, Country Weather and Lambert & Nuttycomba appearing at the Euphoria Ballroom, a short-lived venue in San Rafael California. The Euphoria Ballroom made a handful of great-looking advertisements during its tenure and this incredible poster is one of them. Bob Fried was one of the most highly regarded poster artists of the era. Fried was a trained commercial artist who taught at the San Francisco Art Institute. Like the work of his friend Victor Moscoso, Fried’s formal training gave his work remarkable precision and restraint creating designs that explored geometry and color in a strikingly unique style. A very handsome poster that rarely surfaces for collectors!
