This is noted artist Norman Orr's highly detailed and graphic contribution to the bubbling San Francisco radio broadcasting scene. KSAN was a popular Bay Area radio station. It got its start being a prime broadcaster of Motown R&B and Psychedelic music during the sixties and seventies. One star to come out of the station was the one and only Sly and the Family Stone.
PLEASE NOTE: The image is numbered AOR-2.256 in the Art Of Rock book and the book lists the poster with the date 1969, however many collectors believe this Norman Orr issue was produced in 1971. Our auction listing exhibits 1969 only to be consistent with the AOR listings and CGC, but in the future that may change as new evidence comes to light.
