This poster announced Chet Fest, an event held as a tribute to the late Chet Helms at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco on July 29th, 2005. Helms was the founder of the Family Dog, the manager of Big Brother and the Holding Company, and an all-around important figure in the early San Francisco psychedelic scene. The lineup of artists included Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Big Brother, Country Joe, and many more. This beautiful design by Dennis Loren is in MINT condition!
