We are pleased to present this rare and unique insider's item from the mid-1960s! This is a business card for Intrepid Trips, Inc.,a management venture spearheaded by the late Julius Karpen. Intrepid Trips was Karpen's management company during 1965 & 1966. Karpen also managed Big Brother during Janis Joplin's tenure with the group. He was also a Merry Prankster as well as an important part of several cultural events in the 1960s California scene such as the Human Be-In and the Monterey Pop Festival. Karpen passed in 2021 and this card was acquired directly from his estate. It is unlikely that this item will be made available at public auction anytime soon!
