This poster was created to promote Bob Dylan's fourteenth studio album Planet Waves which was released on January 17th 1974. His backing band was THE BAND! The promotional artwork was designed by Frank Carson and released by Asylum Records to the retail music franchise Tower Records. Tower Records was a retail music chain that was once one of the largest and most influential music retailers in the world. This was Bob Dylan's only album to be released by Asylum Records.
