Stanley Krippner was the director of the Dream Laboratory at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He was deeply interested in exploring the possibilities of dream telepathy—the idea that people can transmit information to each other through their dreams. The Grateful Dead, known for their experimental and open-minded approach to consciousness, were ideal participants for such a study, which took place in March of 1971. This lot features a brochure and synopsis of the study.
