This concert honored J.R.R Tolkien's hero from the epic fantasy Novel "The Hobbit." It featured an early San Francisco appearance of the new addition to Big Brother & The Holding Company featuring Janis Joplin, who arrived a month earlier after being persuaded by Chet Helms. We are pleased to have the opportunity to offer this incredible piece of early 1966 history to the collecting community.
Condition: Black marker ink border drawn on front, faded, creases, pinholes, tears and paper loss bottom edge, tears top edge.
