The band Sir Douglas Quintet was founded by Doug Sahm during 1964 in San Antonio Texas. A few years later they moved to the west coast and became part of the burgeoning San Francisco psychedelic rock scene. 1960's original concert posters like this one are considered by many to be the most lucrative collectibles opportunity in the world today!
