Artist Rick Griffin created this design in 1972, several years after the original Shrine Grateful Dead performance in 1968. It was distributed through his company's catalog, California Graphics Exchange. This is a commemorative poster, however this example you see here is the original first printing from Rick's CGE.
Additional Info: Years later in 1986, Psychedelic Solutions reprinted this image, most noticably adding a credit in the bottom left margin. There are also pirates of this image in circulation without the wide black border, among other differences.
Condition: stains, creases.
