The Grateful Dead Almanac Fall 1993 Issue. These were mailed out to the Fan Club mailing list. The front cover of this unique 8 page zine printed on textured, high quality, thick, white stock features an opening story entitled "GREETINGS FROM THE DEAD" headed up with a black and white photo of the Dead along with a brief discussion of the August 17th planting of a mighty live Oak Tree in memory of Rick Griffin at Petaluma, not far from the site of Rick's fatal 1991 motorcycle accident. Also features a "In Memoriam" photo of Sun Ra (also RIP at the time), an extract of a poem by Robert Hunter, a review of Dick's Picks, a piece about word jazz great Ken Nordine w/photo, color ads for Grateful Dead T-Shirts, stickers and merch.
