Artist Bob Schnepf was a large contributor to several memorable images in the Family Dog series. The FD-98 featured Jim Kweskin, Country Joe and the great Blue Cheer, one of the most underrated unsung bands of the era. Their hard-driving, high-volume, distorted sound was a major influence for future heavy metal and hard rock groups.
