With a mix of comedy and Dixieland jazz influences Austin locals Balcones Fault named themselves after the fault zone in southwest-central Texas. The group played frequently at the Armadillo World Headquarters and after gaining much regional popularity appeared on the first season of Austin City Limits in 1976. This amazing original poster designed by Austin artist Sam Yeates is from a 1976 show at the historic Armadillo World Headquarters with Chastity Fox.
