This original promotional poster was produced by Grateful Dead Records to advertise in retail shops the album release of "Steal Your Face" in 1976. The lettering was done by Rick Griffin and of course the iconic Stealie was originally designed by Owsley Stanley/Bob Thomas. The live Grateful Dead album was recorded October 17–20, 1974, at San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom during a "farewell run" that preceded a then-indefinite hiatus.
