This rare handbill was produced for an event held at Seattle's Eagle's Auditorium on March 24th, 1968. It was billed as "ACLU Pot-Test Case Benefit" and used to raise money for a marijuana test case. The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) has vehemently opposed marijuana prohibition since the 1960s and has sought to help those affected by anti-pot laws ever since. This event was set to feature 10 Seattle area bands along with the Bay Area outfit Country Weather. Lights were provided by the Retina Circus. This is an incredible 1960s Pacific Northwest relic that has never appeared in our auction before and is unlikely to appear again anytime soon!
