This poster by German artist Gunther Kieser was designed for the American Folk and Blues Festival held in Frankfurt, Germany on October 2nd, 1968. Performers included Jimmy Reed, John Lee Hooker, T. Bone Walker, and more. Kieser is perhaps best known for his 1969 Jimi Hendrix Germany poster, but he created many concert posters in his signature bizarre style throughout the years. This is the first example of this issue to ever appear in our auction!
