Starting bid: $1.00

This original handbill (no posters were produced for this event) was distributed to announce the Allmen Joy (not the Allman Brothers early band), The Womb and Notes From the Underground at the The Straight Theater in early 1968. Haight Street’s neighborhood venue during the late ‘60s was the Straight Theater. It was home to many of the great acts of the day. Its history is rich and interesting.

The design was created by Terre', the Charlatans road manager for a short period of time, and he designed several popular and notable concert posters and handbills during the late 1960s, including The Charlatans at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland the same year.
