This rare issue advertised Chuck Berry and the Steve Miller Band playing at UC Berkeley on May 9th, 1969. In 1969, Chuck Berry was already an established icon in rock and roll, known for his pioneering contributions to the genre in the 1950s and 1960s. While the Steve Miller Band had not yet at this time achieved the massive commercial success that would come in the mid-1970s with hits like "The Joker" and "Fly Like an Eagle," they released two albums, "Brave New World" and "Your Saving Grace" the year that this concert occurred.
