This rare poster was produced for The Muse Concerts for Non-Nuclear Future, a string of benefit shows held at Madison Square Garden from September 19th-23rd, 1979. Organized by the Musicians United for Safe Energy (MUSE), the concerts were a direct response to the Three Mile Island nuclear accident earlier that year. The lineup of legendary performers included Jackson Browne, The Doobie Brothers, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, and more. A live triple album titled "No Nukes The Muse Concerts For a Non-Nuclear Future" was released that same year, featuring select performances from the concerts. This included the first-ever live performance of Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band captured on record. In 2021, Springsteen released a film and album titled "The Legendary 1979 No Nukes Concerts", which featured footage from these shows. We've never offered this poster in our auction until now!
