This ultra-rare original concert poster advertised the great Van Morrison, along with Blodwyn Pig and the Blues Image for a run of shows at the Boston Tea Party during mid April 1970. This is the FIRST example of this rare poster to appear in our auction! These shows took place relatively early in Morrison's growing career, right in between the two albums he released that year Moondance and His Band and the Street Choir , his third and fourth studio albums.

From there, he created one of the most prolific and long running solo careers of any of the 1960s performers. Morrison is known for his unique blend of blue-eyed soul jazz and R&B, and has created some of the music world's finest hits along the way. Although he has been known to be a mercurial live performer, when he was on his game, there was none finer. We at PAE LOVE Van the man!

The historic Boston Tea Party venue was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967-1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street through 1970. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!

Condition: Restoration.
