The Residents are an art collective and band that formed in 1974 and have released more than 60 albums. The band's members have largely been anonymous over the years, disguising themselves with eyeball masks and top hats, as can be seen on this poster. This issue promoted the band appearing at Irving Plaza in New York City for three nights in April 1999.
