A very difficult to find original concert poster from the Kaleidoscope series in Museum Quality Condition! Canned Heat, along with the legendary soul rockers Sly and the Family Stone, took the round stage at the Kaleidoscope on the 4th of July, 1968. Fireworks were certainly happening at this short lived LA venue that night and this kick ass poster is all that has survived to commemorate that moment in time. Interesting imagery: Brush your teeth you dirty hippies! The Kaleidoscope poster you see here was number 19 in the series.
The shows were presented "in the round" and all of Kaleidoscope's posters were created to be round in design. Due to their uniqueness, all Kaleidoscopes are highly sought after among collectors today! In August 2011 a non-CGC graded example in similar condition reached a high water mark of $836 in our auction. This original poster here will make the most feverish condition freak jump for joy - it looks like it was produced yesterday!
