Here we have a RARE original handbill from the early days of the Airplane, appearing in our auction for the first time with CGC authentication! This 1966 handbill was designed by Barry Olivier to promote the 9th Annual Associated Students of the University of California Berkeley Folk Festival. The 2-day event featured Jefferson Airplane and the Greenbrair Boys at Pauley Ballroom on July 3rd, and then again with John Fahey, Pete Seeger, Robert Pete Williams and host Ralph J. Gleason at the Greek Theatre on July 4th. Both shows were held on the campus of the University of California in Berkeley. This super scarce handbill is 100% original with no restoration!
