The work of Fillmore poster artist David Singer is a subgenre of poster art in itself. Singer’s s output was the largest of any single Fillmore artist and his photo collage style sometimes gets overlooked. This poster announced a Fillmore West appearance by the seminal Blues innovator John Mayall. This concert would have been right around the time of the release of the album “Turning Point” which features the classic Blues Harp tune “Room to Move”.
