This ultra-rare original concert poster advertised Procol Harum, Howlin' Wolf, The Beacon St. Union and The Hallucinations for a run of shows at the Boston Tea Party during late April 1968. This is the FIRST example of this rare poster to appear in our auction! Procol Harum is a British rock band known for their unique fusion of rock, classical music, and progressive rock. The band was formed in London in 1967 and is perhaps best known for their iconic and timeless song, "A Whiter Shade of Pale," which was released in 1967 and remains one of the classic anthems of the 1960s.
The historic Boston Tea Party venue was located at 53 East Berkeley Street in the South End from 1967-1969 before moving to its new location at 15 Lansdowne Street through 1970. Material from the Boston Tea Party is ALWAYS coveted by collectors and music fans alike!
