Jimi Hendrix posters are the most sought after and valuable posters from the 1960s psychedelic poster world. This super rare, original poster was created for the guitar legend's appearance at the Veteran's Memorial Hall in Columbus, Ohio on March 3rd, 1968. Likely produced in small quantities by an Ohio State student, this rarity is unique to another version of a poster used to promote this show. The example here is the first of its kind we have ever auctioned or seen in other public auctions. Dantes, 4 O’Clock Balloon, and the Soft Machine were in support at this concert, which was part of Jimi's first North American Tour of 1968.
Condition Notes: Mounted on board . Poster has been modified along the way. Penciled and painted on . Not original condition
