This poster is Mounted, and not graded.
This original poster is a VERY RARE treasure that is at the top of many Grateful Dead collectors’ wish lists. It advertises a concert at the New Expo Convention Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on March 21st, 1971. It was produced on heavy coated stock in very low quantities and features a watercolor design by an unknown artist. Also on this bill were the New Riders of the Purple Sage. The opening band named on the poster was a Milwaukee band called Ox. Over 5,000 people attended the concert, which was easily the largest draw the Dead had gathered in Milwaukee up to that point in their career.
We have only ever auctioned one other example of this extremely rare Grateful Dead poster. Back in 2017, we auctioned one for $1,622.00. We haven't seen one surface since.
Condition: Mounted.
