This amazing poster was used for promotion around New York City subways, buses and stations in 1979! It advertised 95.5 WPLJ, a famous radio station located in the city that, at the time this poster was created, played the heavier rock music of the era. The poster depicts Elvis Costello, and reads "New York's Best Mornings Start With WPLJ's News, Weather, Time, and Elvis Costello". WPLJ remains active today but has since become a Christian music station. We've noticed a recent spike in the popularity of these Radio Station promo bus posters, and this is one that definitely won't come around again any time soon! This bus ad was produced on heavy card stock and created by Sci-fi artist extraordinaire OLIVIA! A truly amazing and unique poster!
