This early Vulcan Gas Company poster was designed by the great Texas comix/poster artist Gilbert Shelton. This particular Vulcan gas poster is one of the most desirable scarce and valuable of the entire run. The comical central image is a collector’s favorite.
This poster measures 22 3/4” x 28 1/2” and is in high mint condition. Just a nearly invisible 1/8”” lower left corner bump and a faint 3/16” strip of toning/foxing that extends the left hand side of the poster. There are no nicks tears pinholes or restoration of any kind. This poster is featured in The Art of Rock plate # 3.119
