The FD-130 poster advertises Quicksilver Messenger Service, Dan Hicks & His Hot Licks, and blues man Howlin’ Wolf at the Avalon in 1968. As things were winding down for the Family Dogs stint at the Avalon the budget for promotion was reduced and the promoter began using black and white images for the posters. The last dozen or so posters from the FD Avalon series relied mostly on photographic imagery. But still. This is a 55+ year old original concert poster with a classic band and famous venue!
Condition Details: Edge creases, light edge wear.
