This poster has just emerged from a recently unearthed and long held collection of Texas material owned by a long time resident and participant of the Austin music scene! Kenny Loggins got his start with the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band in 1970 which led to seven albums recorded as "Loggins and Messina" with Jim Messina of Buffalo Springfield from 1972 to 1977. Going solo in 1977, Loggins produced his first solo album, which included the successful song "I Believe in Love" originally sung by Barbra Streisand in "A Star Is Born". This concert at the famous Armadillo in Austin Texas was in support of that release. Armadillo World Headquarters posters are currently enjoying top collector demand. This can be attributed to several reasons including scarcity historical significance as ground zero in the Texas psychedelic scene and the recently published book on the venue "Armadillo World Headquarters - A Memoir" by Eddie Wilson, with Jesse Sublett and forward by Dave Marsh.
