The Who's "Tommy" was released as a double album in 1969 and later adapted into various forms, including a stage musical and a film. The film featured all-star cast including Ann-Margret, Oliver Reed, and Elton John. This printing plate was produced to print handbills advertising a showing of the film at the Eastwood Theater in Indianapolis, Indiana in 1975. The consignor of this item acquired this from the widow of a movie theater owner, which showed the premier of the Tommy movie.
