This extremely RARE Jerry Garcia Band original first printing poster was produced to advertise a September 1976 concert at The Dome, on the campus of C.W. Post College in Greenvale, New York. This is the FIRST appearance of this scarce treasure in our auction! Garcia played with the classic seventies lineup of Donna Godchaux, Keith Godchaux, John Kahn and Ron Tutt.
This concert was during a special era for Garcia - on the heels of his solo "Reflections" release and the Dead were rejuvenated after a hiatus from touring. Jerry loved all the opportunities in-between tours and studio projects to jump on stage with his old pal John Kahn and the rest of the crew as often as possible. The bottom line is: The JGB sounded fantastic in 1976 and THIS LOT is a diamond in the rough! Other Rare JGB posters of this caliber has previously auctioned for well over $1,200.00! Do not overlook this lot!
