This cardboard poster by artist John Moehring was produced for Donovan's appearance at Seattle Center Arena on October 4th, 1968. Donovan was a Scottish-born folkie and an early favorite of the flower power scene. He enjoyed relative commercial success in the late sixties. He released his sixth studio album, "The Hurdy Gurdy Man", the month before this show.
John Moehring has been widely recognized as one of the top designers of concert material during this era in Seattle and Portland. The works of art he created for Boyd Grafmyre Productions between 1967-1969 are legendary and highly sought after by collectors.
