Gary Grimshaw was an influential American graphic artist and poster designer who made a significant impact on the counterculture and rock music scene during the 1960s and beyond. He was closely associated with the Detroit music scene and was responsible for creating posters for legendary bands and artists, such as The MC5, The Stooges, and the Grateful Dead. This RARE Grimshaw issue was produced for a pair of events held at The Park in North Baltimore, Ohio, in September 1971. A wide range of legendary acts from the era is featured including Parliament Funkadelic, Savoy Brown, Cactus, and The Velvet Underground! We've never offered this poster rin our auction until now.
