This poster was produced for a 33rd Anniversary Celebration for People's Park in Berkeley, California in April 2002. The event included music and poetry from individuals including Wavy Gravy, Funky Nixon's Jonathan Richman, Shelley Doty, and more. People's Park in Berkeley is a historic park that gained prominence during the counterculture movement in the 1960s. Originally, it was a vacant lot owned by the University of California. In 1969, community members, including students and activists, took over the land to create a park for public use.
