This is the first example of this theatrical poster to ever appear in our auction! This poster was created for the release of A Film About Jimi Hendrix, a documentary about the legendary guitarist. The film was released in 1973, just a few years after Hendrix's early death. It featured concert footage from some of Hendrix's most iconic moments, as well as interviews with his contemporaries, friends, and family members. This is an original printing of the theatrical poster.
