Very few posters from the early years of the Allman Brothers Band exist not to mention the Duane Allman era. This very rare gem comes from a critical period in the Bands 45+ year history. The concert was held at Hara Arena in Dayton Ohio on September 18th, 1971. Just a month after this performance the band’s founder virtuoso slide guitar legend Duane Allman would be killed in a motorcycle accident on October 29th.
This original first-printing poster was made just months after the release of the Allman’s incomparable live Album "At Fillmore East". That recording which many believe to be one of the best live albums of all time would propel the band to legendary status. This rare vintage poster is in MINT condition! One of the highlight of this auction!
