This rare vintage poster, known as the "bubble version" was designed by artist Lance Bragg for the first annual Atlanta International Pop Festival. The historic events were held July 4th weekend of 1969. The festival was organized by promoter Alex Cooley. He was also one of the organizers of the Texas International Pop Festival a few weeks later on Labor Day weekend. Legendary artists like Led Zeppelin and Janis Joplin performed along with a powerful lineup of artists and the Atlanta Pop Festival went down in history as one of the great events in the South.
