The Joint show was a major event for the San Francisco Psychedelic Poster scene. The event was a high profile gallery exhibition that showed the work of the top concert poster artists of the day. The posters from the event are well known and hold a place in every thoughtful concert poster collection.

This piece being offered here is an incredibly well preserved relic from the event. It is a portfolio that we believe was either handed out or sold at the event. The portfolio slipcase is an over-sized replica of a pack of Zig Zag Rolling Papers. This was likely a nod to the ever popular FD-14. This slip case contains cards of each of the "Big Five" (Wilson, Griffin, Mouse, Kelley & Moscoso) artists with a photograph on one side and another illustration on the back. Also included on the invitation is a portrait of the Big Five together.
