This is a poster by noted artist Dave Hunter for the Steve Kimock band Jerry Garcia Tribute shows in 2015. David Hunter involved himself in the poster scene during the mid-’80s and soon after was organizing poster shows at the Psychedelic Shop in San Francisco. Building his skills as a screen printer it wasn’t long before he began designing posters of his own for big names like Metallica, Gov’t Mule, Primus, Eric Clapton and Dr. John. Sadly he passed away in May of 2017 but his beautiful posters live on.
