This RP-3 printing poster offers the same popular and iconic art for far less than a First Print currently commands!
Everything changed for Janis Joplin in 1966 when she joined Big Brother and the Holding Company. Because of her addition, the band went on to become a major force in the emerging San Francisco psychedelic rock scene. In 1967 she quickly gained national attention after her performance at the Monterey Pop Festival.
This Victor Moscoso-designed poster is the third in the bright, colorful Neon Rose series, and it's one of the most treasured Big Brother concert posters of all time.
Designated RP-3 in Eric King's guide, this lot is technically the 1st official reprint of this issue, as no RP-2 is known to exist.
