This fantastic, original first printing handbill was created for The Grateful Dead's appearance at the New Old Fillmore in San Francisco on December 19, 1969. This was the former location at Fillmore and Geary that was abandoned by Bill Graham after he moved to the Fillmore West his new larger capacity venue that took over the Carousel ballroom after its demise. Original Grateful Dead Handbills are now experiencing a surge in collector popularity and demand! This issue rarely appears in our auctions and this example is simply splendid!
