The Pixies are an influential American alternative rock band that emerged in the late 1980s and played a pivotal role in shaping the alternative music landscape. The band was formed in 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts, by Black Francis as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, Joey Santiago on lead guitar, Kim Deal on bass guitar and backing vocals, and David Lovering on drums. Despite their growing popularity, the Pixies disbanded in 1993, leaving behind a relatively small but dedicated fanbase. However, in 2004, the Pixies surprised fans by reuniting and embarking on a successful tour, reintroducing their music to a new generation of listeners. This EMEK screenprint was from a date the following May in 2005 at the Sasquatch Music Festival.
