This original poster was designed by the talented Austin artist Rick Turner and produced for Violet Crown appearing at the Soap Creek Saloon during July 1975. Rick Turner was part of the early Austin poster artist group scene along with Kerry Awn, Guy Juke, Micael Priest and others, revolving around several Texas venues during the 1970's. The Soap Creek Saloon was a small venue in Austin which attracted much of the local hippies and cowboys to the music scene there, which was already a hot spot due to other area venues like Armadillo World Headquarters. Often some of the same artists would design posters for both venues.
Condition: Toning, corner bumps.
