This Austin Sun original newspaper article from November 1975 was written about artist Ken Featherston after his tragic murder. Featherston was an artist known for producing beautiful, original posters for bands and artists playing at the Armadillo World Headquarters. He also worked security for the venue. He was killed in 1975 outside of the venue as a result of a fight that broke out when a patron was kicked out of a Pointer Sisters concert. The killer was later caught with help from Featherston's fellow Austin-based artist, Jim Franklin.
