This cardboard Colby poster announced a Halloween Bash at The Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles on October 28th, 1995. Performers included Gregg Allman, Randy Meisner, Blue Oyster Cult, Juice Newton, and Iron Butterfly!
The historic Colby Poster Printing Company produced promotional material between 1948 and 2012 and they became legendary for their signature fluorescent inks and bold all-caps typography although none of the original staff had any formal design training. They were members of the letterpress union the screen printers union and the typesetters union. Original Printing Cardboard posters are super popular and remain one of the most highly sought after type of concert memorabilia ever known!
